Evonik Dynasylan 9116 is a monomeric, long-chain, alkyl-functional silane. It is a colorless, transparent liquid soluble in common non-polar organic solvents (e.g., petroleum ether, toluene). Its low volatility and low viscosity make it an easy-to-handle additive. Upon hydrolysis in water, a certain amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is released as alcohols.

Packaging and Storage: Available in 25 kg and 180 kg drums, and 850 kg containers. The container must be kept tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated, dry place. The shelf life in original, unopened packaging is 12 months.
