Sodium citrate, the common raw material is trisodium citrate hydrate, with a molecular weight of 294.12. It can combine with calcium ions in the blood to form an integral compound to prevent blood coagulation. When used for blood anticoagulation, 3.2% (109mmol/L) is often used, and 3.8% (129mmol/L) or 4% (136mmol/L) can also be used.
Procedure (for reference only):
1. Follow the specific experimental requirements.
2. It is recommended to dilute the sample 10-fold before use. This means that 0.2 ml of sodium citrate anticoagulant (3.2%, sterile) can be used to anticoagulate 1.8 ml of blood.
