PO3-GPT is (3)propoxylated glycerol (glycerol), an important intermediate in the synthesis of reactive diluents. It reacts with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid to prepare UV monomers for use in UV curing coatings or inks. This triol can also be used in polyurethane foaming, polyurethane resin synthesis, polyurethane curing agent synthesis, TPU thermoplastic elastomer synthesis, alkyd resins, rosin modification, and other fields. It can also be used as a plasticizer, lubricant, dispersant, etc.
