Product Overview:
QM-9702 is a highly efficient mixed drying agent composed of cobalt, zirconium, and zinc salts. It contains no heavy metals and is used in water-dilutable systems based on oxidative drying resins, such as waterborne alkyds and waterborne epoxy esters. It accelerates the drying speed and improves the early water resistance and salt spray resistance of coatings. QM-9702 features good compatibility, excellent storage stability, and non-yellowing.

Product Characteristics:
This composite catalyst promotes both surface drying and complete drying of the paint film.
It is an environmentally friendly water-based drier, free of heavy metals.
It maintains excellent catalytic performance under low temperature (<13°C) and high humidity (>80% relative humidity) conditions.
It also exhibits good catalytic performance in thick coatings (>100µm wet film).
Application Systems:
Suitable for water-based oxidative drying coatings, such as water-based alkyd, ascorbic acid ester, and acrylic modified alkyd resin systems.
Recommended Dosage:
Add 4-6g of QM-9702 (in the supplied condition) per 100g of film-forming resin (ingredient). It can be added before grinding or added later and then dispersed evenly at high speed.
Packaging and Storage:
25kg/drum or 200kg/drum.
The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.
