QM-1035 Superdispersant

Product Overview:

QM-1035 is a polymeric superdispersant containing multiple anchoring groups. It exhibits excellent wetting and dispersing capabilities for various organic pigments and carbon black, and possesses strong viscosity-reducing properties. It is particularly suitable for grinding high-pigment-content carbon black and organic pigments, and can significantly reduce the operating viscosity of the grinding system and increase pigment loading. Its performance is even better when used in combination with pigment derivative-based viscosity reducers. It also has a strong ability to prevent flocculation and re-agglomeration, greatly improving the storage stability of the ground pigment paste. It is suitable for a variety of coating systems and has excellent versatility.

Product Characteristics:

Suitable for medium-polarity systems, it exhibits good compatibility with commonly used coating resins and offers excellent versatility in coating systems;

It can significantly improve the wetting and dispersion ability of the base material towards pigments and fillers, reduce system viscosity, enhance fluidity, and shorten grinding and dispersion time. It performs even better when used in combination with pigment derivative-based viscosity reducers;

As a polymeric superdispersant, it possesses excellent anti-reagglomeration capabilities. Compared to small-molecule wetting and dispersing agents, it can significantly extend the storage stability of ground pigment pastes;

QM-1332A is a 100% solid content product of QM-1035, not listed in the product catalog, but available for customization upon request.

Application Systems:

Suitable for solvent-based coatings such as two-component polyurethane, alkyd, acrylic, polyester, and amino baking paints.

Recommended Dosage: 

Titanium dioxide: 3-5%

Inorganic pigments: 5-10%

Organic pigments: 20-60%

Ordinary carbon black: 30-60%

High-pigment carbon black: 80-150%

Matting agent: 10-20%

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the packaging remains unopened.
