QM-2003 Dispersant

Product Overview:

QM-2003 is a polymeric dispersant that provides excellent wetting properties for various inorganic pigments and fillers. It can be used for the dispersion of inorganic pigments and fillers, significantly increasing gloss and reducing viscosity, and exhibiting excellent storage stability. It can also be used in the preparation of organic bentonite pre-gels. QM-2003 is highly versatile and suitable for various primers and low-end topcoats.

Ingredients: Amine salt solution of polycarboxylic acid

Appearance: Yellow transparent liquid

Active content: 50%

Solvent: Xylene/BAC

Acid value: 50~60 mgKOH/g

Product Characteristics:

Suitable for solvent-based coating systems, it exhibits excellent dispersion capabilities for inorganic pigments;

It does not decompose at high temperatures and can be used stably in baking paint systems;

It possesses excellent viscosity reduction and anti-settling properties.

Application Systems:

Suitable for various systems including alkyd paints, acrylic paints, nitrocellulose paints, phenolic paints, chlorinated rubber paints, epoxy paints, amino paints, polyurethane paints, and polyester paints, and used for dispersing various pigment systems, offering excellent versatility.

Recommended Dosage: 

Typically, the amount used is 0.2% to 1.0% of the total formulation, or 1.0% to 5.0% of the inorganic pigments and fillers.

Packaging and Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the packaging remains unopened.
