QM-5330 Non-silicone defoamer

Product Overview:

QM-5330 is a non-silicone defoamer suitable for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. It exhibits strong foam suppression, defoaming, and foam-breaking effects, and is particularly suitable for highly viscous coating systems. It also has good compatibility, is less likely to cause cratering in the system, and offers good safety in use.

Appearance: Colorless to light yellow viscous liquid

Active content: 70%

Solvent: Mixed aromatic hydrocarbons

Product Characteristics:

Modified acrylate copolymer can maintain strong defoaming properties while improving the flow properties of the coating and increasing the flatness of the paint film;

It solves the problem of difficult defoaming in high-viscosity systems, inhibits the introduction of air bubbles during mixing, and helps release tiny bubbles from the coating;

It is suitable for thick-coat systems, solving the problems of easy foaming and pinhole formation during thick coating, resulting in a smooth paint film surface;

It is suitable for dipping and flow coating applications, and helps in the removal of air bubbles when applied to porous substrates.

Application Systems:

Suitable for two-component PU, amino baking paints, nitrocellulose dip coatings, acid-curing amino resins, epoxy resins, and other solvent-based and solvent-free coating systems.

Recommended Dosage: 

For a total concentration of 0.1-1.0%, please test to determine the optimal dosage: the additive should be mixed under sufficiently high shear force, and it is recommended to add it before grinding.

Packaging and Storage:

25 kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. When unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
