QM-8011 General Purpose Dispersion Resin

Product Overview:

QM-8011 is a dispersion resin (micro-ester masterbatch) specifically developed for the production of solvent-based, low-resin-content color pastes. QM-8011 exhibits excellent pigment wetting and stability, and is highly compatible with most commonly used resins in coatings. The primary hydroxyl groups in this product allow it to crosslink with polyisocyanate or amino resins.

Contains primary hydroxyl and acidic groups, allowing crosslinking with polyisocyanates, amino resins, polyamides, and polyamines, minimizing impact on coating performance:

Can be used in conjunction with polymeric dispersants such as QM-1831, QM-1061, and QM-1035 to prepare micro-lipid color masterbatches:

Color pastes produced using QM-8011 exhibit excellent blending properties, maintaining stability even with over-dilutation when incorporated into TPA+CAB systems.

Suitable for most solvent-based coating systems.

Recommended Dosage: 

For preparing general-purpose micro-lipid masterbatch, the recommended ratio of QM-8011 to dispersant is 3:1 to 4:1 (based on volume to solid). To obtain the best performance, QM-8011, polymeric dispersant, and solvent should be premixed evenly before adding pigment and grinding.

Packaging and Storage:

25kg/drum or 190kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the production date.
