QM-9045 Paint Drying Agent

Product Overview:

QM-9045 is a closed-type acid catalyst that can significantly reduce the crosslinking reaction temperature of paint in baking. It has good compatibility with the paint film and helps to improve the flexibility, water resistance and salt spray resistance of the cured paint film.

Appearance: Pale yellow transparent liquid

Product Characteristics:

When used in solvent-based baking paint systems, it can significantly lower the crosslinking temperature of the paint, and within the recommended addition range, it will not adversely affect the paint film;

It can increase crosslinking density, increase the hardness and gloss of the paint film, and improve the corrosion resistance, hydrolysis resistance, solvent resistance, and mechanical properties of the paint film;

It can reduce production costs and improve the efficiency of coating production.

Application Systems:

Suitable for high-temperature baking paint, roll coatings and tinplate coatings, etc. The unsealing temperature of this product is 70°C, and the recommended curing temperature is 93-225°C.

Recommended Dosage: 

The amount added varies depending on the system and baking temperature, generally ranging from 0.2% to 4% of the total (see table below). (Drying agent solids/resin solids):

Packaging and Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the production date.
