Product Overview:
QM-9088 is a special reactive ester compound that can react with trace amounts of moisture in solvents or coatings, improving the storage stability of polyurethane coatings. It is commonly used in isocyanate curing agents. Generally, when adding it to isocyanate curing agents, this product should first be added to the solvent and stirred thoroughly to completely remove moisture before being mixed with the curing agent, thus increasing the storage stability of the curing agent.
Physicochemical Parameters:
Specific gravity: 0.90
Appearance: Colorless transparent liquid
Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents
Active content: 100%
Flash point: 33°C
Boiling point: 140-150°C
Product Characteristics:
It can react with water or substances containing active hydrogen atoms (such as alcohols, phenols, ammonia/amine compounds, etc.);
It can completely remove moisture from the solvent in isocyanate curing agents, preventing can swelling;
It is highly efficient, the reaction is vigorous, and the generated small molecule compounds evaporate with the solvent without affecting the solvent’s properties;
It can improve the resin’s properties, increasing its transparency and gloss, and improving its stability.
Application Systems:
Suitable for polyurethane systems, commonly used in isocyanate curing agents. When preparing a diluted curing agent, it is recommended to first add this product to the solvent and stir thoroughly to remove all moisture from the solvent before mixing with the curing agent, in order to increase the storage stability of the curing agent.
Recommended Dosage:
The recommended addition amount is generally 0.5% to 2% of the total volume;
If the water content in the solvent can be accurately measured, a dehydrating agent can be added at a volume of 3 to 8 times the water volume.
Packaging and Storage:
25kg/drum.
The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the production date.
