APES anti-delamination agent, also known as silane coupling agent, is used in mineral-filled thermoplastic and thermosetting resins such as phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, and carbonate. It can significantly improve and enhance the physical and mechanical properties of plastics, such as dry and wet flexural strength, compressive strength, and shear strength, as well as wet electrical properties, and improve the wettability and dispersibility of fillers in polymers.

Function
It is an excellent adhesion promoter, applicable to polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, and phenolic adhesives and sealants. It improves pigment dispersibility and enhances adhesion to glass, aluminum, and ferrous metals. It is also suitable for polyurethane, epoxy, and acrylic latex coatings.
In resin sand casting, it enhances the adhesion of resin-bonded silica sand, improving molding sand strength and moisture resistance. In the production of fiberglass and mineral wool, its addition to phenolic resin binders improves moisture resistance and increases compression resilience.
In grinding wheel manufacturing, it helps improve the adhesion and water resistance of phenolic resin binders for wear-resistant self-hardening sand.
