BASF Acronal S 888 S AP is a fiber bonding acrylic emulsion with good compatibility and heat resistance.

Product Applications:
It has excellent compatibility with other anionic and nonionic polymer emulsions from BASF. It also exhibits good compatibility with common additives and components in formulations.
The film formed after water evaporation is partially cross-linked. Heating to 150-180°C further enhances the cross-linking reaction.
The cross-linked film is insoluble in water and most organic solvents, but may swell.

Storage: General safety regulations for chemical handling must be followed. All safety information is provided in the Material Safety Data Sheet. Recommended storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid temperatures above 40°C or below 5°C. The packaging should be protected from freezing. When properly stored, the shelf life is at least six months (up to one year).
