Compared to conventional benzotriazole-based products, UV Absorber 234 features a deeply optimized molecular structure that results in exceptionally low volatility. This low volatility ensures that the product remains highly stable even in processing environments exceeding 150°C—such as injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding—significantly minimizing thermal loss during the manufacturing process.

In automotive component manufacturing—specifically for parts requiring high-temperature molding, such as lamp covers and interior trim—UV Absorber 234 plays a pivotal role. It effectively blocks ultraviolet radiation, preventing lamp covers from aging or yellowing in a way that would compromise lighting performance, while simultaneously preserving the color and texture of interior trim to enhance the vehicle’s overall aesthetics and comfort.
