Gum rosin/Non-crystalline rosin
Used in hot melt strands; pressure-sensitive adhesives based on SIS or SBS; adhesives, emulsions, etc. that are miscible with NRCR, etc.
Gum rosin is a natural resin mainly composed of various resin acids. It is readily soluble in many solvents and possesses unique chemical activity. It is an important raw material in industries such as papermaking, coatings, inks, rubber, soap, electronics, edible esters, and rosin ester resins.
Non-crystalline rosin is a light yellow, transparent solid obtained by processing gum rosin using a specific process. This process improves its anti-crystallization properties and provides good heat and aging resistance, as well as good compatibility with polymer materials, making it a good tackifying resin.
Product Characteristics:
Soluble in aromatic and aliphatic solvents, esters, and ketones; miscible with various polymers such as NR, CR, SBR, SIS, and EVA; low odor, excellent thermal stability, and high viscosity.
