Product Overview:
QM-1728 exhibits excellent pigment wetting and stabilizing effects, making it ideal for use in epoxy systems, especially water-based epoxy primers, such as container coating primers. It disperses inorganic fillers and organic pigments, improving wetting and dispersion, enhancing pigment stability and color development, and offering high cost-effectiveness. QM-1728 is particularly suitable for dispersing and stabilizing zinc powder in water-based zinc-rich primers, achieving excellent viscosity reduction, color development, and storage stability.
Physicochemical Parameters:
Composition: Special high molecular weight polymer
Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid
Active component: 60%
Soluble: Propylene glycol methyl ether
Product Characteristics:
Suitable for water-based, water-soluble, and alcohol-soluble coating systems, especially epoxy systems, such as container epoxy zinc-rich primers and epoxy intermediate coats, as well as water-based epoxy anti-rust paints for corrosion protection;
It belongs to the high molecular weight dispersant category and has excellent wetting properties. Compared to small molecular weight wetting and dispersing agents, it has excellent anti-coarsening ability.
Application Systems:
Suitable for water-based or water-soluble systems, especially for the dispersion and stabilization of zinc powder in water-based epoxy systems.
