QM-2002 Dispersant

Product Overview:

QM-2002 is a polymeric dispersant that provides excellent wetting properties for various inorganic pigments and fillers. It can be used for the dispersion of inorganic pigments and fillers, significantly increasing gloss and reducing viscosity, and exhibiting excellent storage stability. It can also be used in the preparation of organic bentonite pre-gels.

Product Characteristics:

Suitable for solvent-based coating systems, exhibiting excellent dispersion capabilities for inorganic pigments:

It does not decompose during high-temperature baking and can be used stably in baking paint systems;

Turbidity or precipitation may occur during long-term storage, and due to the characteristics of its unsaturated polymer chains, prolonged storage may lead to color deepening, but the performance remains unaffected.

Application Systems:

Suitable for various systems including alkyd paints, acrylic paints, nitrocellulose paints, phenolic paints, chlorinated rubber paints, epoxy paints, amino paints, polyurethane paints, and polyester paints. It is used for dispersing various pigment systems and has excellent versatility.

Recommended Dosage: 

Typically, the amount used is 0.2% to 1.0% of the total formulation, or 1.0% to 5.0% of the inorganic pigments and fillers.

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the packaging remains unopened.
