Product Overview:
QM-3704 is the most common acetylenic diol wetting agent, possessing strong dynamic wetting ability and widely used in the printing industry, exhibiting good anti-foaming effects. Acetylene diol wetting agents have extremely low dynamic surface tension, while silicone-based wetting agents have very low static surface tension; typically, combining the two yields excellent results. QM-3704 also functions as a pigment wetting agent; when used in combination with dispersants, it can accelerate grinding speed, promote color development and stability of pigments, and also provide a certain degree of anti-foaming effect.
Physicochemical Parameters:
Composition: Alkynesidiols
Appearance: Pale yellow liquid
Active component: 50%
Solvent: DPM
Product Characteristics:
Reduces the dynamic and static surface tension of the system:
Issesses defoaming and foam-suppressing effects due to unstable foaming;
Adjusts the hydrophilic-oleophilic balance of the system, improving the color development and storage stability of the coating, and preventing color floating and blooming;
Low water sensitivity, with excellent substrate wetting and pigment wetting effects.
Application Systems:
As a substrate wetting agent, it is suitable for various water-based coatings and water-soluble coatings;
As a pigment wetting agent, it is suitable for the preparation of various water-based color pastes, added before grinding.
Recommended Dosage:
As a substrate wetting agent, its addition amount varies depending on the requirements, generally ranging from 0.1% to 1% of the total formulation;
As a pigment wetting agent, the addition amount is generally 0.1% to 0.4% (of the total formulation) or 30% of the effective amount of the dispersant.
Packaging and Storage:
25kg/drum or 200kg/drum.
The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.
