QM-5020 Non-silicone defoamer

Product Overview:

QM-5020 is a non-silicone defoamer specifically designed for UV-curing coating systems. It offers excellent compatibility and can be used in clear and pigmented coating formulations. Suitable for dip coating, roller coating, and spray coating, it provides strong defoaming and anti-foaming capabilities without affecting recoatability.

Ingredients: Non-silicone polymer

Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid

Active content: 100%

Solubility: Insoluble in water, isopropanol, and acetone; soluble in BAC, xylene, styrene, TPGDA, TMPTA, etc.

Product Characteristics:

QM-5020 exhibits excellent compatibility in photocurable coating systems and can be used in clear coats and pigmented coatings, as well as in other resin systems such as UPE and high-temperature baking paints;

QM-5020 is organic-free and does not affect the recoatability of the paint film;

QM-5020 does not cause curtain breaks when used in spray coating applications of photocurable coatings.

Suitable for wood and furniture coatings, parquet floor varnishes, printing inks, and overprint varnishes:

Especially recommended for radiation-curing formulations, and also suitable for other resin systems such as UPE and high-temperature baking paints.

Recommended Dosage: 

Typically used at a concentration of 0.3-1.0% of the total volume, pre-diluting with the recommended solvent will facilitate addition and mixing. It can be added during the grinding or paint mixing stage.

Packaging and Storage:

25 kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. When unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
