QM-5057 Non-silicone defoamer

Product Overview:

QM-5057 is a non-silicone defoamer with excellent compatibility. It is specifically designed for coil coatings, unsaturated polyester systems, and epoxy systems, and offers superior defoaming and air release properties.

Product Characteristics:

QM-5057 has excellent defoaming capabilities, effectively addressing difficult defoaming problems in various systems. It inhibits air entrainment during mixing and helps release tiny bubbles from the coating.

QM-5057 also exhibits good stability at high temperatures, making it suitable for baking paint systems.

Application Systems:

Suitable for coil coatings, unsaturated polyesters, epoxies, two-component polyurethanes, amino baking paints, nitrocellulose dip coatings, flow coatings, and acid-curing amino systems.

Recommended Dosage: 

Typically, the dosage is 0.1% to 1.0% of the total formulation amount; please test to determine the optimal dosage. For best performance, the defoamer should be added to the grinding material before grinding. If added at a later stage, sufficiently high shear force is required to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer and prevent cratering.

Packaging and Storage:

25 kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. When unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
