Product Overview:

QM-5355 is a non-silicone defoamer with excellent compatibility, specifically designed for unsaturated polyester and epoxy resin systems, offering superior defoaming and air release capabilities.

Product Characteristics:

QM-5355 has excellent defoaming capabilities and can solve difficult defoaming problems in various systems. It inhibits the introduction of air bubbles during mixing and helps release microbubbles from coatings, making it particularly suitable for unsaturated polyester systems and epoxy potting compounds.

Application Systems:

Recommended for two-component PU, amino baking paints, nitrocellulose dip coatings, flow coatings, and acid-catalyzed nitrogen-based coatings, and especially suitable for unsaturated resin systems, SMC, BMC, epoxy potting compounds, and vinyl resin systems.

Recommended Dosage: 

Typically, the dosage is 0.05% to 1.0% of the total amount; in special systems, it can be increased to 2% or more. Please test to determine the optimal dosage. After addition, mix under sufficiently high shear force; it is recommended to add it before grinding. When using larger quantities, the compatibility with the resin needs to be evaluated, as some resins may cause haziness. It may also affect the transparency in the can and the transparency of the paint film.

Packaging and Storage:

25 kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. When unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
