QM-5710 Non-silicone defoamer

Product Overview:

QM-5710 is a modified polyether defoamer with excellent compatibility with latex paint. It has a good defoaming effect and is not prone to paint film defects such as oil shrinkage. It is commonly used in latex paint and low-end water-based industrial paint.

Product Characteristics:

Modified polyethers offer excellent overall performance, few side effects, and good defoaming properties.

They also exhibit good compatibility and are less prone to paint film defects such as oil shrinkage.

Application Systems:

Suitable for various water-based coatings and latex paints, especially for medium viscosity latex paints with PVC content between 20-60%. Also suitable for low-end water-based industrial paints, such as light anti-corrosion coatings and low-end wood oils.

Recommended Dosage:

For high-viscosity latex paint, it is recommended to add 0.5-0.8% (to the total formula); for low-viscosity latex paint, it is recommended to add 0.1-0.3% (to the total formula). Optimal can-opening effect is achieved at 0.35%. When using, it is recommended to add 40% of the total amount during the grinding or high-speed dispersion stage, and then add the remaining 60% when mixing the paint (before adding the emulsion). QM-5710 may separate during long-term storage; stir well before use. This will not affect the final performance.

Packaging and Storage:

25kg/drum or 200kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.
