QM-6053 Silicone Antifoaming Agent

Product Overview:

QM-6053 is a silicone-based defoamer suitable for solvent-based systems. It exhibits excellent foam suppression and defoaming capabilities, quickly eliminating bubbles generated during the paint manufacturing process. It also boasts excellent compatibility and high safety in use, minimizing the risk of paint film defects.

Physicochemical Parameters:

Ingredients: Defoaming polymer and polysiloxane solution

Appearance: Colorless transparent liquid

Active ingredient content: 1%

Solvent: Butyl acetate/Xylene = 1:1

Product Characteristics:

It has good compatibility, does not easily cause turbidity in the system, and does not affect gloss.

It has good defoaming ability and can quickly break down foam.

It helps eliminate defects such as fisheyes, pinholes, craters, and air bubbles in the paint film.

It is highly safe to use and does not easily cause defects in the paint film.

Application Systems:

Suitable for all solvent-based systems, it offers excellent compatibility and good defoaming performance. It is especially suitable for wood coatings, industrial coatings, anticorrosive paints, paper coatings, curtain-coating wood finishes, and epoxy potting compounds.

Recommended Dosage: 

It is typically added at a concentration of 0.1% to 1% of the total paint volume and can be added at any stage of production.

Packaging and Storage:

25 kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. When unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
