QM-7023 is a hyperbranched acidic polyester adhesion promoter that can significantly increase the adhesion of coatings to various metal substrates, improve the flexibility and corrosion resistance of paint film thickness, and is suitable for both water and oil applications.

Product Overview:

QM-7023 is a hyperbranched polyester adhesion promoter, suitable for both water and oil applications, with excellent resin compatibility. Containing active groups that react with metal substrates, QM-7023 can be used in solvent-based, water-soluble, or water-based amino baking paints. It significantly increases the adhesion of coatings to various metal substrates such as magnesium-aluminum alloys, iron, aluminum, nickel, and stainless steel, and improves the water resistance, salt spray resistance, flexibility, and impact resistance of the paint film.

 

Physicochemical Parameters:

Composition: Hyperbranched acidic polyester

Appearance: Light yellow to colorless transparent liquid

Active component: 60%

Acid value: 70-90 mg KOH/g

Solvent: PMA/IPA

 

Product Characteristics:

Improves the adhesion of coatings to various difficult-to-adhere metals such as aluminum alloys, aluminum, zinc, stainless steel, and electroplated surfaces;

Exhibits excellent compatibility with various resins, without affecting the gloss and leveling of the paint film;

Improves the flexibility of the paint film;

Improves the corrosion resistance of the paint film.

 

Application Systems:

Suitable for various coating and ink systems, such as industrial coatings, printing can and coil coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, acid-curing primers, etc.

 

Recommended Dosage:

Generally, it is 0.5% to 3% of the total mass and can be added at any stage of production.

 

Packaging and Storage:

25kg/drum or 200kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.
