QM-T9760 Alkali-Swellable Thickening Agent

Product Overview:

QM-T9760 is an anionic alkali-swellable thickener. It exhibits low viscosity in acidic media and achieves high viscosity under alkaline conditions, improving the leveling and flow properties of coatings and preventing sagging. It possesses excellent mechanical stability, storage stability, and freeze-thaw stability. It offers excellent low-shear thickening efficiency, good thixotropy, sag resistance, splash resistance, in-can stability, and thermal stability, with low odor.

Product Characteristics:

Easy to use, provides excellent thickening effect and good stability;

Contains no organic solvents, is non-toxic, low-odor, environmentally friendly, and resistant to microbial and enzymatic degradation;

Not hydrophobically modified, which may affect water resistance and salt spray resistance in water-based industrial paints and wood coatings;

Can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners to achieve the desired rheological properties for the formulation.

Application Systems:

Suitable for various latex paints and low-end water-based industrial paints.

Recommended Dosage: 

The typical addition amount is 0.2-2.5% (of the total formula), and it is recommended to dilute it with water before use.

Packaging and Storage:

Available in 60kg or 160kg drums.
The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when unopened.
