PEF polyester is a polycondensation product of 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) and ethylene glycol. It can improve the gas barrier properties, hot-fill temperature, colorability, and mechanical strength of petroleum-based polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and has broad application prospects in high-barrier packaging materials, high-performance fibers, and engineering plastics.
