QM-5780 Non-silicone defoamer

Product Overview:

QM-5780 is a high-performance water-based non-silicone defoamer, commonly used in various water-based and water-soluble coating systems. It performs well in many aspects such as defoaming ability and safety of use, and has a high cost performance. QM-5780 has a strong ability to eliminate microbubbles, and its effect is even better when used in conjunction with silicone defoamers.

Physicochemical Parameters:

Composition: Specially modified non-silicone copolymer solution

Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid

Active component: 60%

Soluble: Isobutanol

Product Characteristics:

Suitable for various water-based and water-soluble coating systems, with excellent defoaming effect and high defoaming efficiency;

Exhibits excellent compatibility, can be added during grinding or paint mixing stages without easily causing pinholes or oil leakage;

Widely versatile, suitable for various emulsion, dispersion, and water-soluble resin systems;

Does not affect film leveling or substrate wetting.

Application Systems:

QM-5780 is suitable for use in acrylic emulsion, PUA, PUD and water-based coating systems, especially water-based wood coatings. QM-5780 can be added at any stage of the production process.

Recommended Dosage:

Recommended addition of QM-5780: 0.1~0.5% based on the total coating formulation:

QM-5780 has a defoaming effect and its effect is better when used in combination with silicone defoamers such as QM-6725.

Packaging and Storage:

25kg/drum or 200kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.
