QM-T9735 Hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable thickener

Product Overview:

QM-T9735 is a hydrophobically modified associative anionic alkali-swellable thickener. It offers high thickening efficiency at medium shear rates, very low odor, excellent flow and leveling properties, anti-splatter characteristics, and thermal stability. Compared to polymeric cellulose-based thickeners, it effectively improves the flow and leveling properties of coatings. During application, it exhibits high shear viscosity, good brushability, and excellent anti-splatter properties, along with good mildew resistance, water resistance, and scrub resistance.

Product Characteristics:

Easy to use, provides excellent thickening effect and good stability;

Can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners to achieve the desired rheological properties for the formulation.

Application Systems:

Suitable for various latex paints and low-end water-based industrial paints.

Recommended Dosage: 

The typical addition amount is 0.2-2.5% (of the total formula), and it is recommended to dilute it with water before use.

Packaging and Storage:

Available in 60kg or 160kg drums.
The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when unopened.
