QM-T9736 Hydrophobically Modified Alkali-Swellable Thickener

Product Overview:

QM-T9736 is a hydrophobically modified associative anionic alkali-swellable thickener, which can be used as a primary or co-thickener for water-based coatings. At low concentrations, it improves medium and low shear viscosity. Compared to high-molecular-weight cellulose-based thickeners, it effectively improves the flow and leveling properties of coatings. During application, it exhibits high shear viscosity, good brushability, and excellent anti-splatter properties, along with good mildew resistance, water resistance, and scrub resistance.

Product Characteristics:

Application Systems:

Suitable for various latex paints and low-end water-based industrial paints.

Recommended Dosage: 

The typical addition amount is 0.2-2.5% (of the total formula), and it is recommended to dilute it with water before use.

Packaging and Storage:

Available in 60kg or 160kg drums.
The product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when unopened.
