QM-9041 Anti-sagging additive

Product Overview:

QM-9041 is a polyurea-based liquid anti-settling agent with excellent anti-settling and anti-flow properties. It provides low shear viscosity, has extremely strong thixotropic properties, and does not affect leveling.

Product Characteristics:

The polyurea structure of QM-9041 can form a three-dimensional network structure, thus giving the coating extremely strong thixotropic properties;

QM-9041 only increases viscosity at low shear rates without affecting application performance at high shear rates, therefore it can increase anti-sagging properties without affecting leveling.

Application Systems:

QM-9041 is suitable for medium-polarity systems such as 2KPU, amino paint, and NC. Its use is not recommended for high-polarity systems.

QM-9041 can also be used in PVC paste resins to improve thixotropy, allowing for faster processing of plastisol during manufacturing and improving anti-settling and anti-flow behavior. It can also be used in reactive casting resin systems containing fillers, such as epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic resins, and some polyester resins, to prevent sedimentation.

Recommended Dosage: 

Depending on the polarity and solids content of the solvent and resin in the formulation, the dosage is generally 0.2-1% based on the total formulation for preventing sedimentation, and 0.5-2% based on the total formulation for preventing sagging. It is recommended to add it under medium-to-high speed shear conditions or during the grinding stage.

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 24 months from the production date.
