Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) is used as a coagulant in water treatment. It is a polymerized form of aluminium chloride and hydroxide with varying molecular structures and properties.PAC is widely used in the treatment of drinking water because of its high antibacterial effects.

Industrial grade Polyaluminium chloride is granule or powder. Its color is brown or yellow. They are usually used for all kinds of
waste water treatment. And its raw materials are bauxite calcium, aluminate powder and hydrochloric acid. The Polyaluminium
chloride is industrial grade, so there are colors and impurities after dissolution.
Food grade Polyaluminium chloride is powder. Its color is light yellow or white. They are also used for all kinds of waste water
treatment. The white powder PAC also can be used for precision casting. And it is nearly transparent when dissolved.

The fundamental difference between polyaluminum chloride and traditional inorganic coagulants is that the traditional inorganic coagulants are low-molecular crystalline salt, while the structure of polyaluminum chloride is composed of multi-carboxyl complex with changeable morphology, fast flocculation and precipitation rate, wide PH range, non-corrosive to pipeline equipment, and obvious water purification effect. It can effectively remove SS, COD, BOD and heavy metal ions such as arsenic and mercury in water. The product is widely used in drinking water, industrial water and sewage treatment fields.

 

About the usage of Polyaluminium Chloride

1. Mix solid Polyaluminium chloride with room temperature water in a ratio of 1:2.5 to 1:3. This will take about 30 minutes. After the medicine is completely dissolved, add 30-40 times more water to dilute. Or dilute it into a liquid at the desired concentration. So it’s ready to use.
2. Notice: The higher the turbidity of source water, the more water will be added in the second dilution.
3. When tuibidity of source water is 100-500mg/L, it is appropriate to add the amount of Poly aluminium chloride should be put in.
