This solution is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-polluting, and harmless.
Purpose: pH buffer solution is used to calibrate the accuracy of electronic pH test pens. Electronic pH test pens are highly accurate, but test results can drift over time. Therefore, the test pens should be calibrated regularly during use.
Instructions:
Rinse the pH meter electrode with pure water 2-3 times, then immerse the electrode in the calibration solution. Adjust the pH value of the pH meter to the same value as the calibration solution.
For higher instrument accuracy, a two-point or three-point calibration can be performed.
A two-point calibration uses two different calibration solutions, while a three-point calibration uses three different calibration solutions.
Generally, calibration begins at 6.86. Then, use 4.00 or 9.18.
The pH meter needs to be recalibrated in the following situations:
1. It has been used since calibration (or has been stored for a long time);
2. The electrode is used frequently;
3. High measurement accuracy is required;
4. After replacing the electrode (for pH meters with replaceable electrodes)
Storage: Store at room temperature. Discard any solution that shows signs of turbidity, mold, or precipitation. Shelf life: 24 months
