QM-7520 Adhesion Promoter
QM-7520 is a functional silane oligomer adhesion promoter that significantly increases the adhesion of coatings to various metal substrates. It can be used in solvent-based or water-based systems to increase adhesion, corrosion resistance, mechanical properties of the paint film, and chemical resistance. When used in water-based epoxy zinc-rich paints, it can also significantly increase the stability of zinc powder, extend the pot life, and improve salt spray resistance.
Product Overview:
QM-7520 is an epoxy functional alkane oligomer used in coatings, inks, adhesives, and sealants to improve adhesion to various metal, glass, and ceramic substrates. It also helps promote crosslinking in water-based or solvent-based coatings and the dispersion of metallic pigments in water-based systems. QM-7520 exhibits excellent hydrolytic stability, resulting in a longer shelf life in solvent-based coating systems. After hydrolysis under specific conditions, it is also suitable for water-based coatings, increasing adhesion to substrates, corrosion resistance (salt spray resistance), and improving various mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and scrub resistance of the paint film. When used in water-based oxygen-rich zinc paints, it can significantly increase the stability of zinc powder, extend its pot life, and enhance salt spray resistance.
