QM-9779A Anti-flash rust additive

Product Overview:

QM-9779A is an economical rust inhibitor containing multiple corrosion inhibitors. When added to water-based coatings, it can inhibit flash rust and in-tank rust. It can be used as a temporary rust inhibitor and has excellent rust prevention performance on various metal substrates. QM-9779A has a very high cost performance.

Product Characteristics:

Effectively inhibits flash rusting of water-based coatings during the drying process on ferrous substrates;

Improves the water resistance of the paint film, solving the problem of rust re-emergence when exposed to water shortly after drying;

Good compatibility with various water-based resins, and will not cause paint film sensitivity issues;

Recommended Dosage: 

The recommended addition amount is generally 0.5% to 2% of the total amount. In harsh environments (such as high humidity environments), the dosage can be increased appropriately or it can be used in combination with sodium nitrite.

Packaging and Storage:

25kg/drum or 200kg/drum.

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place. Unopened, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.
