Millad 3988i, a nucleating and clarifying agent, is ideal for manufacturing transparent plastic products such as medical supplies, stationery, beverage packaging, transparent cups, bowls, basins, plates, CD cases, etc. It is also suitable for high-temperature sterilization products and is widely used in transparent PP sheets and transparent PP pipes.
The nucleating and clarifying agent Millad 3988i can be used directly by dry mixing with PP, or it can be made into a masterbatch of 2.5-5% before use. Generally, the clarifying effect of Millad 3988i is significant when added at a level of 0.2-0.4%. The recommended addition level is 0.2-0.4%, and the processing temperature is 190-260℃.
