Dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate (DPHA) is a highly functional monomer suitable for UV curing reactions, with relatively high viscosity. DPHA has extremely low skin irritation, low odor, and extremely high reactivity. It forms very hard films with excellent abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, and chemical resistance. This monomer has a wide range of applications, including optical fibers, paper, PVC flooring, wood coatings, plastic coatings, offset and screen printing, flexographic and gravure inks, solder resist inks, and photoresists.

Function

1. UV-cured coatings: DPHA is a multifunctional acrylate monomer that can form a dense film with high cross-linking density on the surface of objects, serving both decorative and protective purposes. It is commonly used in furniture coatings, automotive coatings, and paper coatings.

2. UV-cured inks:DPHA is a high-energy monomer with good compatibility with other resins and pigments. While increasing the curing rate, it also imparts good hardness and abrasion resistance to inks. It can be used in UV-cured screen printing inks, UV-cured offset printing inks, and UV-cured ceramic inks.

3. UV-cured adhesives: The high cross-linking density of multifunctional DPHA gives it excellent strength and stability in UV-cured adhesives. Combined with its rapid curing properties, it can be used in industrial applications requiring rapid assembly and high-strength bonding.
