Vinyl tris(2-methoxyethoxy) silane is a widely used organosilane coupling agent. It is commonly used to improve the electrical properties and mechanical strength of EPDM, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), and other polymers or resins filled with inorganic fillers. It is also highly effective for the surface pretreatment of clay, silica-containing inorganic fillers, and magnesium hydroxide flame-retardant fillers.

Function
In the field of rubber composites, Vinyl tris(2-methoxyethoxy) silane is used to improve the electrical properties and mechanical strength of filled rubber compounds. It also enhances the adhesion durability of emulsions and coatings, imparts hydrophobicity to inorganic fillers, improves filler dispersion, strengthens the interfacial bonding between fibers and resins, and enhances the wet-state performance of composite materials.
Vinyl tris(2-methoxyethoxy) silane can also provide crosslinking sites for organic polymers. It is widely used as a polymer modifier, an EPDM modification agent, and a crosslinking agent for silane-crosslinked cable compounds.
In addition, it can be used to improve the water resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance of polymer materials. It also serves as an oil-repellent and anti-fouling additive in inks, paints, and coatings.
